Amanda Lucas is a therapist and licensed clinical social worker whose practice is affirming, strengths-based, and rooted in an anti-oppressive framework. She enjoys working with emerging adults and adults, and her clinical experience and areas of interest include treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief, trauma/PTSD, life transitions and relationship issues. Amanda utilizes evidenced-based treatments such as CBT, along with EFT, mindfulness and self-compassion to support her clients’ healing. Amanda recognizes that it takes strength and courage to invest in therapy and works to create a supportive and collaborative relationship with her clients to help them navigate life’s challenges and create opportunities for growth.
